Created in 2003 by a merger of existing companies in the UK and France, Roxel designs, develops, manufactures and sells solid propulsion systems and related equipment for all types of rockets and tactical and cruise missiles for air, sea and ground forces. Once part of BAE Systems, Roxel UK has a long history of design, development and manufacture based on a site that was a key part of the WWII supply chain manufacturing mortar bombs for use by allied forces around the world.
Due to the nature of the business, Roxel UK is compliance heavy and often has to meet Government security requirements, so the way employees store data needs to always be secure and systems need to be regularly monitored.
Having recently partnered with security specialists CyberQ Group, Digital Space was able to support Roxel UK in being compliant and secure through the provision of Penetration Testing.
The CyberQ Group is CREST certified for Penetration Testing and certified to ISO 27001 standards helping to ensure compliance at every stage of the project. The project saw the CyberQ Group’s experts carry out a simulated cyber-attack against Roxel’s computer systems to check for exploitable vulnerabilities.
